Our core doctrines:1. The One True God
We believe in the existence of one true God, who is the Creator of all things. This one God is composed of two distinct beings—God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. The Father is the supreme and eternal source of all life, and Jesus Christ, His Son, is the firstborn of all creation.
2. The Sabbath and God's Holy Days:
We believe that the seventh day of the week, the Sabbath, is a holy day ordained by God. It is a sign between God and His people and serves as a reminder of God's creation and His redemptive plan. The Sabbath is observed from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday, and is a day of rest, reflection, and worship.
Additionally, we observe the biblical Holy Days (the Feast Days), which include Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles, and the Last Great Day. These Holy Days, which God commanded in the Scriptures, point to specific events in God's plan of salvation and the coming Kingdom of God.3. The Nature of Humanity and the Plan of Salvation:
We believe that human beings are created in the image of God, but that humanity is presently physical and mortal. However, God’s purpose for mankind is to offer the potential to be transformed into spirit beings—members of the Family of God—through the process of salvation. Salvation is a free gift of God, which includes both forgiveness of sin and the ultimate gift of eternal life.
Salvation is only made possible through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who became the Savior of all mankind. By His blood, Jesus Christ paid the penalty for the sins of humanity, and through His resurrection, He made available the opportunity for humanity to inherit eternal.4. Repentance, Baptism, and the Holy Spirit:
We believe that in order to be part of God’s plan, individuals must repent of their sins, be baptized by immersion in water, and receive the Holy Spirit. Repentance involves turning away from sin, which is the transgression of God’s law, and turning toward a life of obedience to God’s commandments.
Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and marks the point where one is spiritually reborn. Through the receipt of God’s Holy Spirit, believers are empowered to overcome sin and live a life pleasing to God. The Holy Spirit is the "down payment" of eternal life, and it is through this Spirit that believers begin the process of transformation into the image of God.5. Seek FIRST The Kingdom!:
We believe that the Kingdom of God is the central message of the Bible. The Kingdom is both a present spiritual reality within the hearts of true believers and a future literal government that will be established on Earth by Jesus Christ at His return. The Kingdom will bring peace, justice, and righteousness, and will be the divine Family’s rule over the entire world. At that time, all who have been called and are in Christ will reign with Him as immortal sons and daughters of God.
Christ’s return to earth will be a literal, visible event that will mark the end of this present age and the beginning of a new age of God’s rule. All faithful Christians, both living and dead, will be resurrected to eternal life as spirit beings, glorified and immortal, to serve in God’s Kingdom.6. The Resurrection of the Dead!:
We believe in the future resurrection of the dead. The Bible teaches that at Christ’s second coming, the dead in Christ will be raised to eternal life, and those who are alive and faithful will be transformed into spirit beings at the same time. This resurrection is necessary for believers to enter fully into the Kingdom of God.
There will also be a later resurrection of the unsaved, who will be judged according to their works and the opportunity they had to accept God’s truth. Those who have rejected God’s way will face eternal separation from Him in the lake of fire, while those who have been faithful will enter into everlasting life.7. The Role of the Church:
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called by God to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom, make disciples, and teach God's truth. The Church is not a physical building, but a spiritual organization composed of baptized believers who are led by God’s Holy Spirit.
The Church serves as a witness of God’s truth to the world and is called to live in unity, holiness, and obedience to God’s commandments. The Church is also responsible for spreading the message of salvation and preparing the saints for service in God’s coming Kingdom.8. Living the Christian Life:
We believe that true Christians must live by every word of God, as revealed in the Bible. This includes obedience to the Ten Commandments, as well as living in harmony with Christ’s teachings. Christians are called to live holy lives, to overcome sin, and to develop the character of God. Through daily study, prayer, and living by God's commandments, Christians grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
The fruits of the Spirit, including love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, should manifest in the life of every Christian.
